MODCLOTH - RIDDING THE INDUSTY OF PLUS SIZE ..

NO NO - HOLD YOUR HORSES ! - I DONT MEAN THAT THEY ARE STOPPING DOING THE PLUS SIZE CLOTHING RANGE !! - NO - IN FACT - THEY ARE STILL DOING AND STILL PRODUCING FABULOUS PIECES ALL GOING UP TO AT LEAST A PLUS SIZE x4 (24/26 - But often fitting Larger than the Norm )

LET ME EXPLAIN !!

Modcloth are a Fashion Based Retailer that is committed to the 'Style for all' revolution !

Hurrah we all say !! - BUT - Modcloth wish to take this one step further - and rid the industry of calling Larger sizing ' PLUS SIZES ' - A term used for Ladies whose bodies are bigger than the 'Standard' Size 14 - Plus size is identified as sizes 14-24, super size as sizes 24 + ( 4X-6X !! )

I KNOW - THATS JUST SOOOO .. RADICAL !

Instead making them ' Extended Sizing ' and having no separation between the larger and smaller size range of the clothes that they produce - They also are including Petite Sizes, in this Extended range - so - everyone is covered - lol - Literally !!

Ok - all a bit confusing ?? - OK - Simple terms - They want a size 10 and a PLUS SIZE CLOTHING RANGE 22 to be able to walk into the same shop and pick up a dress off the SAME RAIL !!! - So us ' Plus Size ' or - ' Extended ' Size Ladies don't have to feel discriminated against and walk to the back of the shop, rummaging through the Bigger sizes that have been stuffed into some corner !! Mmmmmmmmm Interesting Concept ...

The term 'Plus Size' is shall we say - Out of Date - it WAS meant for the odd few in society who are larger than average - BUT - in TODAYS society - More and More people are Plus size - so surely - this is now the Norm - ?? So - Having Extended Sizing is Obviously Moving with the times ??

ModCloth do definitely have a point - People = Both Large and Small - should NOT feel differentiation between body type - BUT from a larger persons perspective - I actually quite enjoy having my own 'area' = and I actually ENJOY BEING UNIQUE !! So - Is it really an issue ?? - OK - for MANY - if not most, IT DEFINATELY IS !! - They want to be the same and blend in with the crowd - Most Ladies DONT want the FAT stigma, BUT - well - Just look in the Mirror - If your over a size 18 - YOU ARE FAT ( Being a EXTENDED SIZE 28 - I Can call myself FAT - and No - I dont mind - I AM FAT - I GOT OVER IT !! - Is it not better to EMBRACE YOUR CURVES, AND LOVE YOURSELF FOR THE BEAUTIFUL PERSON YOU ARE - and wear these WONDERFUL BRIGHT PLUS SIZE CLOTHES from Modcloth with Style and Confidence ??

Where else have you seen a dress that imitates R2D2 from StarWars ?? = Its Fabulous - AND IN A DECENT EXTENDED RANGE = MODCLOTH DO !!

Where have you seen a Dress with Cat Faces covering the Material, or a Unicorn dress in bright stunning colours = All in YOUR LARGER BEAUTIFUL EXTENDED SIZE RANGE - ALL READY TO BE TAKEN OFF THE HANGER - PAID FOR - and COMPLIMENTED ON !! - MODCLOTH DO !! Now you can go in and do just that - Extended ranges in all the Best of Todays Fashion for the Individual that doesn't want to blend into the background !!

So - is it better to have got rid of the term - PLUS SIZE - and re-name it ' EXTENDED SIZING ' Mmmm - Everyone is equal - everyone catered for - Ohh now that's sounding better - Your STILL Unique - But - Your not being Treated differently from anyone else - Yup - That sounds great !

Be Proud of who you are - CURVES AND ALL = and let Modcloth Style the Beautiful EXTENDED you - and Compliment your shape perfectly with Items such as Maxi Dresses, Trousers, Blouses, Office Wear to Jeans and even Wedding Attire - Delievered straight to your door, or even visit a shop, I know - Visit a shop that sells - Fabulous Fashion in Our Curvatious sizing !!

What we now need is Bigger ladies on the Catwalks and in the Modelling Industry and being accepted as ' normal ' - Its all well and good re-naming a 'Brand' But - Something needs to be done about being Fat Shamed in the first place - A lady with Curves is Beautiful and SHOULD stand out - Because we are Fabulous, Flirty and FASHIONABLE TOO !!! ;)
